I’ve always been interested in the fact that the human body seems to be some kind of receptacle which would contain , at times subtly and mysteriously , or then in a striking way , the various experiences we go through along the path of our lives .
The type of work I have been developing in the last few years explores post modern urban life , the relationship between our own essence and the people around us, the force impact of cultural constructions and representations , while always referring to our instincts and to the most primitive areas of our own nature .
It analyzes the way our nature reacts , whenever it confronts the new shifting contexts of modern life .
Even though I do not tackle the treatment of a more visible type of violence , I keep a close scrutiny on those veiled types of violence which usually accompany the social , political and personal areas of our lives.
